This is my first kitchen of the year and as you can see I have been busy, I have taken out the old units, removed the old tiles, installed new units and retiled. I'm not sure what made the original owners of this house put the cooker hood so high though ?.

Nice large kitchen refitted in light oak shaker style door, the double oven stayed in it's original position just on the left side out of view and the gas hob resited down to the bottom of the room to make way for a cooker hood above.

This kitchen looks nice and streamlined now the old slot in cooker has been replaced by a built in oven and hob and continuous worktops.

A nice light oak shaker door revamp tidied up this kitchen with black laminate worktops and matching upstands, also note the stainless steel splashback behind the hob which is easier to clean than a painted wall.

A rather large cottage kitchen in keeping with the building, images show original units, the room completely empty and after installing an under floor heating element and skimming over and final completion after decorating and tiling.

Completely transformed from dull kitchen with freestanding appliances to a gloss walnut kitchen with integrated appliances and lots of light coming from under the wall units, matching upstands, black glass hob splashback and blue L.E.D. plinth lights.

My absolute favourite kitchen this year, I had to run a new ring main in for the kitchen, I also ran in a new cable for the oven circuit. The whole room was then replastered (not by me) and then I refurbished the kitchen a couple of weeks later, I returned to fit the plinths after the floor was fitted and took the final pictures you see above. As you can see the room has been tastefully fitted out and would make anyone proud to be the owner. Many thanks to Barry & Pat for their hospitality.

Pretty straight forward kitchen with tall wall units, the three right images are customer pictures emailed to me after they have tiled. Many thanks to Helen & Richard, it looks great.

Above left is the picture during the wall coming out, I would have liked to show a better picture than the ones on the right but I forgot to take a picture !, these were taken by my customer while I was still working in her property.

Same range cooker, new units, new floor, new cooker hood, new tiles and a completely new look.

This sink moved around the corner to create a little more storage space.

Those ugly boiler pipes were boxed in and the old crazing Belfast sink replaced with a new one, The boiler was also boxed in with appropriate ventilation grills fitted to the cabinet.

This room wasn't a kitchen until these units were installed, the old kitchen being transformed into a dining room, a solid oak worktop and belfast sink completes this installation.

Yet another kitchen transformed with shiny gloss walnut doors, the hatch was blocked up and tiled over and note the sink unit has been turned around the corner to create as much storage space as possible.

This kitchen was installed in a very old cottage situated on a farm, the old kitchen had been installed for years and was in need of refurbishment, the installation included an integrated dishwasher and fridge to bring the kitchen up to present day.

Photos taken after tiling and flooring, just a little skirting to be completed. I love that retro wall unit....

The above kitchen was so long I couldn't take photo's of it in one shot.

The above was a before and after on a building site, when I turned up there were no window or doors installed, a good job it was summer.

These worktops are in real beech and ready for a few coats of oil.

Nice large white kitchen with black laminate worktops and white sink.

This kitchen underwent a major overhaul with loads of building work, plastering, rewiring and new floor as you can see.

Before Installation Before Installation After Installation Before Installation

This kitchen also underwent a major restructure as walls were taken down, plastered and the kitchen was rewired.

This kitchen was one of my favourite's this year, the old kitchen was tiled and they had to come off, and so did a lot of the plasterboard unfortunately, the finished product looks fantastic with real wooden beech block worktop and an under mounted sink. If you are interested in how I did the cutout for the sink and what the worktops looked like before they were sanded and oiled then go to the menu above and look under photos/worktops/solid wood.

This year I was recommended to Tara Palmer Tomkinsons father, Charles, to install the kitchens at six barn conversions. This is the kitchen and utility room for Barn One.  I didn’t do the tiling I just took the photo’s after completion.

This kitchen was all ready ripped out, painted and prepared for me so the installation was shorter than normal.

Wow.. This kitchen was definitely transformed, it looks great with built in microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer and matching range cooker. This is also the second kitchen I have fitted for Jeff and Trudi, so thanks for having me back.

This kitchen still has to be completed, the floor still has to be put down and the plinths require fitting, the walls also will be plastered and glass splashbacks fitted by the customer.
